Northwestern European countries also rank highly in AI readiness. Denmark (#2), the Netherlands (#4), Estonia (#5), Finland (#6), and Sweden (#10) are leaders in this area. These countries were among the first to introduce national AI strategies, such as Finland’s 2017 AI strategy aimed at improving business competitiveness and the effective use of data.

Georgia’s AI Readiness Index score is 0.53, placing it 58th among 174 countries. This score indicates significant room for improvement, although some progress has been made. Georgia’s digital infrastructure is rapidly developing, and efforts to build a skilled workforce are underway. However, there is a need for further advancement in technological innovation and regulatory frameworks.
