The smartphone market increasingly reflects clear consumer preferences. Buyers now prioritize advanced cameras, fast processors, and high-resolution displays. 5G compatibility is already a key factor for younger urban users, while long battery life and fast charging matter most to those who rely on their phones heavily throughout the day.

As of March 2025, the most popular brand in Georgia is Samsung, holding around 38% of the market. Apple comes in second with 24%, followed by Xiaomi at 17.5% (StatCounter). Together, these three brands dominate nearly the entire smartphone market. Other manufacturers like Realme and Google occupy only small segments, though interest in Google’s Pixel series is growing among tech-savvy users.

In Georgia, the choice of smartphone is often shaped not just by price but by country of origin, brand reputation, and word-of-mouth recommendations. Many buyers stick with Samsung simply because they had a good experience with a previous Galaxy model.
